Our Role in Your Pet’s Health
the Natural Veterinary Medical Center provides consultative natural veterinary care for pets at all life stages. This includes support for animals with chronic or recurring health concerns as well as guidance for healthy pets whose owners are interested in a natural, proactive approach to care.
Some clients seek support for ongoing medical conditions. Others are interested in raising puppies or kittens naturally, optimizing nutrition, minimizing unnecessary exposures, or building a strong foundation for long-term health. Both are appropriate reasons to seek care at the NVMC.
Our role is to develop individualized natural care plans that consider diet, environment, lifestyle, and whole-body balance. Care is thoughtful, intentional, and designed to evolve over time.
What to Expect
Consultations at the NVMC are comprehensive and individualized, with a focus on understanding the whole animal rather than addressing isolated symptoms. Care plans are intended to evolve over time and require ongoing communication and participation from pet owners.
No Primary Care & Emergency Services
the NVMC is NOT a primary care or emergency veterinary hospital. All patients must have an established relationship with a primary care veterinarian who manages vaccinations, spay/neuter procedures, acute illness, injury, and emergency care.
How Natural Veterinary Care Fits In
Natural veterinary medicine is designed to complement primary veterinary care, not replace it. Our role is to provide thoughtful, system-based support through nutrition, herbal medicine, and lifestyle guidance while your primary veterinarian oversees routine and urgent medical needs.
Is This The Right Fit?
the NVMC is best suited for pet owners seeking a natural, long-term approach to care who value individualized guidance and already work with a primary care veterinarian. If you are unsure whether this model is appropriate for your pet, we are happy to help you decide before scheduling.
