Herbal Medicine Integration
Herbal medicine is a central component of care at the Natural Veterinary Medical Center. Using Western Herbal Medicine, customized formulas are developed to support physiologic balance, address underlying patterns, and complement conventional care when appropriate.
Herbal recommendations are adjusted over time based on each patient’s response.

When used skillfully and with intention, herbal medicine can gently support regulatory systems, reduce the need for ongoing intervention, and help guide the body back toward self-sufficiency.
Natural Nutrition & Diet Guidance
Nutrition plays a foundational role in long-term health. the NVMC provides individualized nutrition guidance for both healthy pets and those with chronic or recurrent concerns, with an emphasis on species-appropriate diets, ingredient quality, and practicality for each household.
Recommendations may include commercial diets, home-prepared options, or strategic modifications based on the pet’s needs.
Pricing
Fees reflect consultation time and care planning and may vary based on case complexity, time required, and services provided. Herbal medicines, supplements, and other recommended products are not included and are priced separately when indicated. Any anticipated changes will be discussed in advance.
Initial Holistic Consultation & Natural Treatment Plan
90 minutes | $350
A comprehensive, in-depth consultation focused on understanding your pet as a whole. This visit includes review of medical history and records, detailed discussion of diet and lifestyle, and the development of an individualized natural care plan. Recommendations may include herbal medicine, nutraceutical support, nutrition guidance, and lifestyle adjustments tailored to your pet’s needs.
Follow-up Consultations & Updated Treatment Plan
45 minutes | $150

Follow-up visits allow time to assess progress, refine recommendations, and make thoughtful adjustments to your pet’s care plan. These appointments support ongoing healing, appropriate pacing, and evolving needs as your pet responds to treatment.
Natural Nutrition Consultation & Diet Formulation
$250
(Add-on to Natural Treatment Plan: $150)
A focused consultation dedicated to evaluating your pet’s current diet and nutritional needs. This service includes personalized dietary recommendations and, when appropriate, formulation of a customized natural diet to support your pet’s health goals, medical conditions, and lifestyle.
